| AboutAqua Tech Marine Services provides marine power solutions by offering skilled and thorough repair of marine engines and related boat systems. We are an authorized, Premier level Mercury Marine repair and sales facility. Aqua Tech is owned and operated by Troy Hatler and Sheli Potmesil. Troy has been a marine engine repair professional since 1984, and has a lifetime of experience on boats-- sailing, power boating, rigging, racing, building, and more. Troy holds a Masters degree in Mechanical/Ocean Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara. Troy has been a certified Mercury Outboard and MerCruiser Stern Drive technician since 1993. Sheli holds a B.F.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara. Sheli's organizational and managerial experience spans more than a decade. In addition to her business savvy, she is an avid boater, shrimper and crabber.
